Prime Minister Yuliya Svyridenko said that the audit in the defense sector will begin on the 20th of December, and the first interim results are expected in January.
She reported this in Telegram based on the results of the report of the deputy head of the State Audit Service (SAS) Yulia Solyanik.
The audits will cover 22 enterprises of JSC “Ukrainian Defense Industry”, as well as inspections of state-owned enterprises of the Ministry of Defense – “Defense Procurement Agency” (AOZ) and “State Rear Operator” (DOT) for the period 2022-2025.
Svyridenko instructed the State Audit Service to report weekly on the progress of inspections and to provide comprehensive information on the fact of their conduct to law enforcement agencies.
The audit of Energoatom NAEC at 10 branches of the company is also ongoing, the interim results of which are expected at the end of December.
The deputy head of the State Audit Service reported on the results of the monitoring of defense procurements of AOZ and DOT for 2024-2025, in the process of which “a number of imperfections were revealed.” The head of the Cabinet instructed to make changes to eliminate them.
