“I. Vityuk’s suspicion was announced after the resonant detention of the Bureau representatives, although criminal proceedings were opened almost a year and a half ago. During this time, the investigation of NABU and the SAP could not collect a convincing evidence base, ”the SBU noted.
According to the service, the cause of the case was the presence of an apartment in the Vityuk family, allegedly purchased at a low price. The investigation ignored:
• the results of numerous expertise that refute the reduction of the cost of housing;
• NAPC’s conclusion about the absence of signs of illegal enrichment;
• legitimate income of Vityuk’s wife, which confirm the origin of the funds;
• shows of witnesses that refute the version of the prosecution.
The SBU emphasized that Ilya Vituk has made an important contribution to the country’s protection from the first days of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
