The US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, threatened Russian dictator Vladimir Putin with an attack on the center of the Russian capital.

Trump himself said this at a meeting with the editors of The Wall Street Journal.

The former president said that he told Putin: “Vladimir, if you persecute Ukraine, I will hit you so hard that you will not even believe it. I will strike right at the center of bloody Moscow.”

The politician added that he also said the following: “We are friends. I don’t want to do it, but I have no choice.”

Trump did not specify when and under what circumstances this conversation took place.

Earlier, Trump also confirmed his good relations with Putin and said that the dictator had warned him about his intention to invade Ukraine.

“He talked about it,” Trump said, assuring that in the end the Russian dictator decided on a military invasion because of the current President of the United States, Joe Biden.

Trump’s position on Russia’s war against Ukraine
