State Border Service fixes stabilization of passenger traffic across the border

After two weeks, the reduction of passenger traffic across the Ukrainian border stabilized and even slightly increased. After two weeks, the reduction of passenger traffic across the Ukrainian border stabilized and even slightly increased. According to the State Border Guard Service, a week from September 13 to September 19, it increased by 1.7%, reaching 616 thousand people.

The number of people who entered Ukraine increased to 306 thousand (out of 285 thousand), while the number of those who left decreased to 310 thousand (from 321 thousand), the border guards show. The flow of vehicles has also increased slightly to 135 thousand, and machines with humanitarian cargoes – up to 491.

As of 12:00 Sunday, the largest queues were recorded at the border with Poland, in particular in Ustilug PE (35 cars). At the border with Hungary, the queues were at the transitions of Tisa, Luzhanka and the Call.

This year’s border crossing per similar week is 12% higher than last year. In 2024, 280 thousand left 280 thousand people in the same period from Ukraine.

Earlier, border guards exposed the mobilization evasion scheme in Sumy – three persons reported suspected abuse of influence.
