STA for 4th grade students in the form of EIT will be mandatory since 2027

Since 2027, fourth grade students will make a mandatory state final certification (STA) in the format of external independent evaluation (EIT). The corresponding decision is enshrined in the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The corresponding decision is enshrined in the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Preparation for the introduction of a new DPA format will begin as early as the 2025/2026 academic year. In February-April 2026 it is planned to create a special educational online platform for testing. The funding of the new certification model will be due to the state budget.

It should be reminded that in Ukraine the fourth consecutive year has become fewer graduates who gain a maximum 200 points from at least one subject on a national multi -compartment test.
