“As of 08:30, 01/24/2026, it is cloudy on Mount Pip Ivan, visibility is limited, the wind is southerly, 10 m/s, the air temperature is -6°С. The height of the snow cover is from 10 to 100 cm, in some places the drift is up to 150-160 cm,” the report says.
Pip Ivan Chornohirskyi is one of the highest peaks of the Ukrainian Carpathians on the border of the Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian regions.
As of this morning, snow is falling in the Zaroslyak tract, the wind is easterly at 1-2 m/s, the height of the snow cover is 35 cm, the air temperature is -3°C. The tract is located at the foot of Hoverla and is surrounded by forest and Carpathian peaks on all sides.
Cloudy weather with snow and ice on the roads is expected in Ukraine on Saturday, January 24. The temperature will drop to -15° in some places, and there will be ice on the roads.
