President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law on the use of utility companies in the field of passenger transportation of transport obtained as humanitarian assistance.
This is evidenced by the Law on the Parliament’s website, Ukrinform reports.
The law creates legal conditions for the use of buses, electric buses, tram cars, trolleybuses, subway cars, which were obtained as humanitarian assistance, in the economic activity of communal carriers.
According to the law, during the martial law and 12 months after its termination or cancellation, communal enterprises – car carriers and carriers of urban electric transport are recognized as the recipients of the human assistance in the provision of transportation.
Vehicles transmitted as humanitarian aid can be used by these enterprises for transportation of passengers and luggage.
Such assistance may not be alienated or transferred to other individuals or legal entities by any transactions except for free transfer to another humanitarian aid purchaser.
In addition, the use of humanitarian assistance by communal carriers in transportation is not considered profitable.
The law will allow more efficiently to meet the transport needs of the population in the conditions of martial law and after its completion.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed Law No. 4440-IX, which regulates the issue of granting the status of a child who has suffered as a result of hostilities and armed conflicts. This law eliminates the legislative conflict in granting status.
