“During the format meeting «R.Amystein” They received an important signal: the free world – on the side of Ukraine and peace. Together with the partners, they focused on the main strengthening of the defense potential of the Ukrainian army, ”he said.
Shmigal also listed key partners’ key solutions:
- USA – Launches with NATO a new mechanism that will allow European countries to buy American weapons for Ukraine. The specific parameters of this initiative have been discussed. Germany is already joining the delivery of five Patriot systems, they must be transferred soon;
- Germany – transmits more than 200,000 shells for Gepard systems, as well as finances the purchase of Ukrainian long -range drones;
- Canada – will continue to participate in the financing of the Ukrainian defense through the Danish model and allocates $ 20 million (more than $ 14.6 million) for the service of Ukrainian tanks;
- Netherlands -provide 200 million euros for drones-interceptors and 125 million euros for maintenance of F-16 aircraft;
- Norway – in 2025, in total, it allocated 1 billion euros for the purchase of drones, of which 400 million – for purchase from the Ukrainian OPC;
- Sweden – prepares a new package with air defense, artillery and equipment.
On July 21, Denis Shmigal announced three key requests for international partners during the next Ramstein format.
