According to him, it is about protecting the population both in the air and on the ground, freezing the front line and security guarantees by international partners.
Shevchuk emphasized that elections at the local level are especially necessary, because many councils still remain representatives of prohibited pro -Russian parties, such as the IPP or the Shariae Party.
At the same time, the election is not found illegal, the lawyer indicates the need to approve a clear legislative framework.
“A separate normative document is required that regulates elections during the martial law or determine the mechanism of its temporary termination. It has to work effectively here, ”Shevchuk explained.
