According to the expert’s forecast, February 2, 3 and 4 will be the coldest. During this period, dry frosty weather will prevail throughout the territory of Ukraine.
On the night of February 2, the air temperature in most regions will drop to -20…-28 degrees. During the day, thermometers will show -12…-19 degrees.
In the south of the country, frosts will be somewhat weaker: -12…-18 degrees at night, -2…-10 degrees during the day.
Currently, an anticyclone reigns over the territory of Ukraine, so precipitation is unlikely in most regions. At the same time, due to the proximity of the Black Sea cyclone, snowfalls and blizzards are possible in the Crimea and the Azov region.
It will get colder to -25 degrees in the coming night in the capital, and about -15 degrees is expected in the afternoon on February 2. Precipitation is not forecast, sunny clearings are possible.
Natalka Didenko noted that “on February 3-4, the frosts will still remain, but already from February 5-6, the cold will begin to gradually recede, and the temperature indicators will become milder.”
