Vietnam accepted 20 Ukrainian children from the communities of the Sumy region on vacation.

This was announced by the head of the Sumy regional military administration Oleg Hrygorov.

“20 children from Sumy Oblast went on a two-week vacation to Vietnam. These are schoolchildren from eight communities of the region. Among them are the children of fallen defenders, participants in hostilities, orphans and a child from among IDPs,” Grigorov wrote in Telegram on Sunday.

According to him, the trip was made possible thanks to the support of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga and the team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

As a result of an attack by a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on the Krasnopil community in Sumy Oblast, two civilian men aged 47 and 49 were killed.

Russian troops again struck with drones in the center of the city of Semenivka, Chernihiv region, as a result of which the cultural center was damaged.
