At the beginning of the day on November 8, “Ukrenergo” introduced emergency power outage schedules in Ukraine due to a new massive attack by Russia.
Emergency shutdowns do not allow you to adhere to planned schedules, so the power supply in such regions as Kyiv, Kyivska and Dnipropetrovsk becomes uncontrollable.
As a reminder, Kyiv residents can find out about their schedule of hourly outages using several methods, namely in YASNO and DTEK.
Residents of the Kyiv region can check their outage schedule by entering the address on the appropriate online resources:
-
in the chat bot in Telegram (https://t.me/DTEKKyivRegionElektromerezhiBot);
-
in Viber (https://www.viber.com/dtekkyivregionelektromerezhi);
-
on the official website (https://www.dtek-krem.com.ua/ua/shutdowns).
It is noted that in case of simultaneous implementation of emergency shutdown schedules and hourly shutdown schedules, the time without power supply may increase.
Cherkasy region
On November 8, from 00:38, emergency power outages were applied at the command of NEC “Ukrenergo”.
“We ask that you understand the measures taken to preserve the energy system of Ukraine. Today, there is a need for very economical consumption of electricity. Please, if possible, do not use powerful electrical appliances during this period,” the press service of “Cherkasioblenergo” said.
You can see the schedule on the oblenergo website.
Kirovohrad region
Later, it became known about the emergency shutdown of electricity in the Kirovohrad region.
On November 8, starting at 01:12, emergency power cuts were applied at the command of NEC “Ukrenergo”.
Ukrainians are advised to regularly check the pages of their Oblenergo, where up-to-date information on outage schedules and the progress of power supply restoration is updated.
Despite previous plans to turn off power from 08:00 to 21:00, the actual volume of outages may significantly exceed the planned due to the emergency response situation. The authorities call on the public to exercise caution and regulate electricity consumption in crisis conditions.
