On Friday, January 30, a mixed regime of restrictions will operate in the Odesa region, which depends on the technical condition of the networks in specific settlements. DTEK power engineers emphasize that due to significant damage to the equipment, it is not possible to adhere to stable forecasts everywhere.

For most of the Odesa region, the use of hourly outage schedules is provided. The restrictions will affect all 12 sub-lines, which will allow the power deficit to be evenly distributed among consumers. However, the stabilization schedules will operate exclusively in those areas where the state of power nodes allows planned switching without risking the integrity of the system.

The situation directly in Odesa, part of the Odesa district and some large district centers remains more complicated: emergency blackouts continue to operate there. In these areas, the schedules published on the operators’ websites are not up-to-date, as the power is switched off and on again depending on the operational load on the network. Residents are advised to keep their devices charged and to be considerate of the work of the energy workers who carry out restoration work around the clock.

As of January 29, according to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption in Ukraine increased by 1.6% compared to the previous day. In connection with the large shortage of electricity, individual was introduced in Kyiv graphs disconnections adapted to each house. This decision aims to reduce the load on the country’s energy system.

DTEK appealed to the residents of Troeshchyna, warning that calls for protests and road closures are hampering the work of emergency crews trying to restore power in areas affected by blackouts.
