The ex-deputy of the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Dmytro Verbytskyi, known for scandals surrounding illegal enrichment, seems to have decided to reflect his reputation and engage in charity. He created a charity fund, which he announced on Facebook.
However, Verbytskyi is not known to the general public as a benefactor. Earlier, millions of fortunes of unknown origin were discovered in the possession of the former deputy general prosecutor. In the declaration for 2024, he indicated significant profits, houses and luxury cars, as well as a grave in the city of Odesa.
NAZK has evidence regarding this official, which indicates his illegal enrichment of almost UAH 29 million. Verbytskyi and the chief of detectives of the BEB Tkachuk are also associated with pressure on grain traders.
It seems that having decided to at least somehow improve his reputation (if this is even possible), Verbytsky went to the “philanthropists”. His Facebook account now states that he is the head of the fund at Kraina Dobra BO. However, it seems that this organization is nothing more than a “puppet”.
If we go to the fund’s page, we will see that there are no records. The number of subscribers is 0. And in a Google search, the UA.News agency was unable to find either the organization’s website or any information about its activities.
Earlier, the UA.News publication wrote that Verbytskyi had found millions of fortunes of unknown origin.
