The National Anti -Corruption Bureau has completed an investigation into the SBU employee, who demanded $ 300,000 for the destruction of part of the materials for the transfer of military personnel abroad.

The official was detained “after the transfer of $ 72,000” and exposed two of his accomplices.
According to the investigation, the SBU official with the accomplices “demanded $ 300,000” in the person who accompanied in criminal proceedings.
For the specified amount, he promised to destroy some of the case files and to reveal the facts already established, and in case of refusal, he threatened to strengthen the punishment.
We will remind, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted an unscheduled inspection in the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, without warning the National Anti -Corruption Bureau, as required by law.
NABU also responded to resonant cases against the employees of the department who received suspicions after an accident, which occurred in 2021 and 2023.
