The traitor was a 42-year-old mobilized resident of Kharkiv. He held the position of platoon commander in one of the units and drained the occupiers of important information – in particular the coordinates of the staffs, training centers and the reserve positions of the part where he served. The agent actually adjusts the strikes of Russian drones and aviation at the positions of Ukrainian soldiers.
He also collected data on the number of units and officers’ lists. This information was to be transmitted to his curator with the FSB. Instead, the Russians promised to “evacuate” it through the front line in the Kharkiv direction.
According to the SBU, the traitor independently connected with the Russian special services. He helped him in this relatives – former military from the Russian Federation, who now live in Russia.
The operatives detained the agent with evidence. During the search, he was seized a mobile phone with materials confirming his work on the enemy. Measures for the safety of personnel and positions of defense forces were also taken.
Investigators of the SBU reported the person suspicious under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law. He is now in custody. He is threatened with life imprisonment with the confiscation of property.
We will remind, in the Rivne region employees of the National Police and the SBU detained two young men who tried to organize a terrorist attack against law enforcement.
We have already reported that in the Khmelnytsky region the SBU detained the FSB agent of the Russian Federation, which collected data on airfields of the Armed Forces in the west of the country. Thus, he gave enemy blows around the region.
