Commenting on the case of People’s Deputy Anna Skorokhod, who is suspected of corruption due to the use of the NSDC mechanism, Lyamets noted that now Ukrainians see how Security Council sanctions actually work. He mentioned several examples when similar restrictions were imposed on famous politicians or businessmen.
Among the persons mentioned by the journalist is the former co-owner of the liquidated “Ibox Bank” Alyona Shevtsova. According to the blogger, its inclusion in the sanction list could be a method of unfair competition.
“Similarly, in April 2025, Alyona Shevtsova (JSC Ibox Bank) was sanctioned. With a probability of 95%, it was connected with an attempt to remove her from the gambling market by people connected with Timur Mindich and Artem Shil.” Serhii Lyamets thinks.
