In Ukraine, the second month in a row is reduced by the average wage, which the Pension Fund uses to calculate pensions.
This follows from the official data of the PFU recently published.
According to the department, in August 2025, the official salary for the calculation of pension payments was 19 813.71 hryvnia. This figure was 641.94 less than in July – then it was equal to UAH 20 455.65.
It is worth noting that the fall has been happening for the second month – in July, the figure also decreased by UAH 1,981.41 after the growth since the beginning of the year.
We will remind, on September 15 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the project of the Law on the State Budget for 2026.
Also, the average salary in Ukraine has increased by 19% compared to August 2024 and is now UAH 25 thousand.
