Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga stated that Russia’s international isolation continues despite “certain single contacts.”

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy said this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

“I think this diplomatic isolation is ongoing. Despite some single contacts. And, of course, Putin, Russia is trying to use these contacts to legalize themselves in the international arena and showing the picture seemingly returning to normal. No, this did not happen and does not happen. The sanctions are ongoing, all sanctions are involved today. We are talking about restrictions on Russia’s participation in a number of international organizations, in international important events. We are talking about Russia’s diplomatic and political isolation, ”Sibiga said.

Commenting on the topic of responsibility of the aggressor country, the Minister recalled progress on achieving agreements on the creation of a special tribunal.

“This work is being done because certain macro solutions were made at the beginning, then everything switched to the level of more expert, professional work, and now we have reached a really significant process, with the prospect of accelerated further movement,” the Foreign Minister said.

On the eve of the country, G7 warned Russia that in the event of ceasefire refusal, it would face further sanctions.

We will remind, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the US side proposed to start a truce from an unconditional ceasefire.

US President Donald Trump has strongly asked for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to allow Ukraine to withdraw its troops from Kursk. He noted that he spent a effective dialogue with the Kremlin leader.

Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov reported that the Russian dictator had handed over to US President Donald Trump a letter with proposals and ceasefire conditions. The US head will receive it through Steve Vitcoff.
