Russians most often find perpetrators of arson in Ukraine through the Internet. The occupiers recruit mostly minors and people with addictions for such tasks.
The spokesperson of the Security Service of Ukraine, Artem Dekhtyarenko, said this in the Yedyny Novyni telethon.
“Performers are sought through messengers and online communities focused on making quick money. By the way, in the absolute majority of cases, Russians, as they say, “go for the money”: either they don’t pay at all, or they pay less and demand that the next arson be carried out. There is also a trend when Russians recruit minors and people with drug, alcohol, or gaming addictions for arson,” said Dekhtyarenko.
According to him, both categories are more susceptible to psychological manipulation. In particular, young people, for their part, are often not able to fully assess the consequences of their actions, and addicts agree because of the acute need for money at any price.
At the same time, young people should understand that the Russian special services simply use them for their own purposes as consumables, because for FSB employees it is completely unimportant what happens to the pallium after the task is completed.
“That’s why the Russians convince minors that they are allegedly not subject to the Criminal Code. However, this is not true, because criminal responsibility for such crimes begins at the age of 14,” the SBU spokesman added.
We will remind you that recently in Vinnytsia, the Security Service and the National Police detained two more enemy henchmen of the occupiers, who were engaged in arson on the order of the enemy. The main “targets” of the participants were the cars of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteer organizations.
And in Kyiv, two groups of saboteurs were detained, who, on the order of the Russian special services, set fire to military vehicles and railway relay cabinets.
