The Ukrainian Air Force reported that during the night, a total of 99 drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas models, were deployed from various locations, including Bryansk and Crimea. Approximately 70 of these were identified as Shahed drones.
Ukrainian defense forces engaged the aerial assault with a combination of aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, and mobile fire groups. By 8:30 AM, the defense systems had reportedly intercepted or neutralized 90 enemy drones across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Despite these efforts, nine drones managed to strike six locations, with debris from downed drones falling in three areas. The Air Force warned that the attack was ongoing and urged residents to remain vigilant.
