Rescuers pulled a man from an 8-meter well in Bilotserkiv region

In the Bilotserki district of the Kyiv region, rescuers conducted a complex operation to save a man who fell into a well. The incident happened on January 22 at 3:13 p.m. in the village of Hrebinky on Tsukrovii Street.

This is reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kyiv region.

The Rescue Service received a message that an elderly man was in a well and needed immediate help. Rescuers of the 48th State Fire and Rescue Department of the village of Hrebinky promptly arrived at the scene.

The situation was dangerous due to low temperature, considerable depth and cold water. After assessing the circumstances, the emergency workers found out that the victim was afloat, and started a rescue operation.

With the help of a rope and a fire belt with a carabiner, the man was lifted to the surface from a depth of about 8 meters.

A man born in 1949 turned out to be saved. Emergency medical personnel examined him at the scene and provided the necessary assistance.
