Last year was the year of recovery of the trolleybus market in Ukraine: Ukrainian cities received 107 trolleybuses – a record during the full-scale war with Russia.
This is reported by TTS.
According to Alltransua, the majority of deliveries were new trolleybuses — 75 units, of which 66 were purchased with the support of international financial organizations. The main suppliers of new machines were “Etalon” and PTS, which covered 90% of the market. The rest was provided by “Electron” and “Litan”, which resumed production for the first time in several years.
Among budget purchases, Chernihiv received new trolleybuses (3 Etalon T121 Barvinok cars) and Chernivtsi (6 PTS T123). Kharkiv became the main recipient of used trolleybuses — 26 Škoda cars, including 21 transferred from Brno (Czech Republic). Rivne received 4 Solaris Trollio trolleybuses from Lublin, Ivano-Frankivsk received the last Gräf & Stift from Salzburg, and Dnipro continued the practice of replacing bodies with YuMZ T1 trolleybuses.
In the occupied territories, deliveries of trolleybuses practically stopped in 2025. An uncertain situation is observed in Kerch, where the movement of trolleybuses is probably stopped.
In 2026, Alltransua expects to continue deliveries within the framework of existing agreements with international financial organizations, in particular to Ivano-Frankivsk, Kremenchuk, Lutsk, Ternopil and Chernivtsi.
Ivano-Frankivsk received the first Škoda 24Tr Irisbus trolleybuses from the Czech city of Jihlava.
