People’s Deputy Pavel Bakunets believes that the current composition of the Verkhovna Rada is unlikely to make a decision to increase taxes for citizens.

He stated this on the program of the day ..live.

According to the People’s Deputy, this year it is necessary to find about UAH 40 billion to cover the needs of the state budget. Although this amount will increase due to an increase in social costs, it has not yet reached a critical level of hundreds of billions.

Bakunets stressed that the government is trying to find a balance between fiscal burden and budget needs without resorting to sharp tax changes for the population.

Earlier, we wrote that the Government of Ukraine plans to introduce total tax control, in particular, the fiscalization of all natural persons-entrepreneurs (FOP), control over taxi and delivery activities, as well as the fight against salaries “in envelopes”.

Recall that in Ukraine they can pass a law that will pay taxes of anyone who earns through online platforms. This will apply to couriers, taxi drivers, tenants and content makers.
