On Sunday, December 14, cold weather will persist in Ukraine, and rain and sleet will fall almost throughout the country.

It will be relatively calmer only in the east – there the day promises to pass mostly without significant precipitation. The synoptic picture of the day is a cloudy sky, humid air and a “slippery” mood of the weather, which forces you to plan routes more carefully.
In the west, the daytime temperature will fluctuate between +3°…+5°. Cloudiness will periodically be broken by clearings, but they will be quickly replaced by light rains.
Transcarpathia has a chance to pass this day with less precipitation, although the general background will remain damp and cool.
Northern regions will welcome Sunday with rain and sleet, and the day will be mostly cloudy. Temperatures here will range from -3° to +1°, so precipitation can alternate and change phase right through the day.
Drivers and pedestrians should pay attention to unstable conditions, when “plus” and “minus” constantly compete for roads and sidewalks.
It will be coldest on December 14 in the east: -4°…-1° is expected during the day. Notable precipitation is forecast there, but this does not guarantee the sun – overcast weather will prevail.
Light rains and sleet will pass in the center of the country, and the temperature will drop to -3°…0°. At the same time, higher values are possible in Vinnytsia and in the Uman region — 0°…+5°.
The southern regions will spend the day under dense clouds, with light rain and places with wet snow. The temperature here is expected to be in the range of -1°…+2°, but Odesa region may experience a thaw of up to +7°.
Separately, the church date is mentioned in the calendar of the day – they honor the martyrs of Tires, Leukius and Kalinikus, and the people say: if it is warm on December 14, then the summer will be hot.
