Finland President Alexander Stubb said Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is not interested in a truce or ceasefire, and his goals for Ukraine remain unchanged.

“Putin is not looking for a truce, ceasefire or peace. Its fundamental goal, namely the destruction of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, has not changed at all. I hope we can continue the pressure from the event to force Russia to stop the fire, ”he said.
According to Stubb, a meeting to support Ukraine, organized by the Prime Minister of Great Britain Keir Start, has become an important step forward. The President of Finland said that a coalition of countries is currently being formed, ready to support Ukraine, which includes about 30 like-minded states from Europe and other regions.
“Britain and France play a strong leadership role, and everyone has a clear vision of the situation: Ukraine wants peace and ceasefire, Russia is not,” he said.
On March 13, Finland announced the allocation of 28 packages of assistance to Ukraine for 200 million euros.
According to the website of the Finnish Ministry of Defense, the total cost of assistance to Ukraine from Finland has increased to € 3.3 billion, the message reads.
The Ministry of Defense of the country does not disclose the full content of the military assistance package, but it is reported that it will include artillery ammunition, which are “needed by Ukraine now.”
