In the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal, three students convicted of six years were initiated for a group rape of a 14-year-old girl.

Prosecutors and lawyers of the victim insist – the sentence was legitimate, and protection arguments have no reason to “contradict real events”.
The resonant crime occurred on August 24, 2021 – then the teenagers lured the girl in the basement, where they took turns “sexual violence”, fixing everything on video.
The first instance issued a conditional sentence, but the Court of Appeal, due to “significant violations,” returned the case for re -consideration. In February 2025, all three were sentenced to a real term – 6 years in prison with immediate arrest in the courtroom.
