Key products of the Easter table, such as eggs, meat and bread, are especially rising. In particular, the price of eggs can increase by another 10% due to increased demand.
Currently, the average cost of a dozen eggs is 72-75 UAH, but after Easter it can be reduced to 50-60 UAH by increasing the supply on the market.
After the holidays, significant cheaper products are possible. Denis Marchuk predicts that prices can fall by 20-30% of the current level.
The main factor for this will be the yield from Ukrainian greenhouses and open ground, which will create competition for imported products.
“In May – early June, the first open soil vegetables will appear, which will increase competition and help reduce prices», – explained the expert.
We will remind, experts predict positive changes for Ukrainian drivers: in the near future prices are expected not only for gasoline, but also for diesel fuel and autogas.
