This is stated in the message of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.
Stefanchuk explained that he was “surprised” to hear that Poroshenko was not allowed to meet with the leader of the European People’s Party the day before.
Today, during the meeting, the People’s Deputy stated that he was not allowed to go abroad “on the criminal instructions” of the head of the President’s Security Service.
Stefanchuk explained that Poroshenko really had to go to the meeting of the Political Assembly of the European People’s Party, which took place on January 13-14 in Brussels. It was for this reason that he requested a business trip for January 11-15.
However, during the plenary sessions of the parliament in recent days, Poroshenko has been coming to the hall. This shows that he independently decided not to go on a business trip, Stefanchuk explained.
The head of the parliament added that he did not know the reasons why the leader of “European Solidarity” decided to leave Ukraine on January 15 for the meeting that ended the day before.
It will be recalled that in November 2024, the leader of “European Solidarity” Petro Poroshenko was not allowed to go on a business trip abroad to participate in the Munich Security Conference. He seems to be in danger there.
On December 1, 2023, the border guards did not let Petro Poroshenko out of Ukraine. According to the politician, he went on a business trip to Poland and the USA. In a neighboring country, in particular, he intended to agree on the lifting of the blockade on the border.
