People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko stated that he was preparing a law on the personal responsibility of the NSDC members who vote for the imposition of sanctions against Ukrainian citizens.

The ex-president considers this law necessary that material losses in the event of a court decision on the wrongful application of sanctions, be compensated not from the state budget, but at the expense of those who voted for the relevant decision.
“I will now register another bill so that when we win the court and when the compensation decision is awarded, they should not compensate for taxpayers, not from the pocket of a soldier or officer, but from the pocket of those who participated in the vote in this politically motivated massacre,” he stressed.
Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on indefinite sanctions against Poroshenko on February 12. He has imposed 17 types of restrictions, in particular, they blocked assets and banned the withdrawal of capital abroad.
