Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko claims that the decree on sanctions against him, signed by President Vladimir Zelensky on February 12, was changed after signing. According to him, the document first had a technical mistake – the Inn Poroshenko noted 11 digits instead of 10.
Poroshenko emphasizes that first the document was ruled until February 13, and then a completely different text of the decree was published. He believes that the amendments to the President’s document without a new decision of the National Security and Defense Council and without repeated decree are illegal and may be regarded as falsification.
According to him, after signing the decree, neither technical personnel nor other state bodies have the right to amend its content, as it violates the law and undermines the rule of law. Poroshenko stated that such actions are contrary to the decision of the administrative court and may indicate an attempt to hide significant changes in the text of the document.
Poroshenko’s party emphasizes that all amendments should only be signed by the decree, and then any changes are illegal and undermine democratic government procedures.
Recall that the leader of “European solidarity” and the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko after a meeting of the Shevchenkivsky District Court stated that the so -called “coal business” against him is an empty farce.
