Polish border guards conducted a large -scale inspection of businesses that employ foreigners, in Bendzin, Yavozhno and Khuzh.
Sosnovets law enforcement officers paid special attention to four companies in which citizens of different countries worked. Among the 160 proven persons, almost half are Ukrainians, while the rest are natives of Kyrgyzstan, Colombia, Rwanda, Argentina and several other states.
During the inspection, Polish law enforcement officers found numerous violations of labor law. In particular, there are cases of “illegal work” and lack of messages to the relevant bodies about the beginning or end of work of foreigners.
Such actions of employers may indicate attempts to legalize the illegal stay of employees in Poland.
As a result of the inspection, the Polish side initiated administrative proceedings against foreigners who worked with violations. They may be made decisions to return to countries of origin.
In addition, the possibility of opening criminal cases on suspicion of facilitating the illegal crossing of the border and the organization of illegal work.
We will remind, the Polish Diet supported the bill on the withdrawal from the Ottawa Convention on the ban on the use of anti -personnel mines. 413 deputies supported this decision, and another 15 were against, three abstained.
