Law enforcement officers from 22 regions were involved in large -scale operational actions. Police conducted 128 searches in households and in the backyard, where the attackers masked drugs among crops, in floodplains and inaccessible places.
As a result, more than 21,000 narcotics were destroyed, almost 57 kg of cannabis, equipment, cash and cars were seized. According to police calculations, this made it possible to prevent entering the “black” market of about 4.2 tons of finished narcotic products, the cost of which could reach more than 200 million UAH.
Suspicions have already been declared 14 persons, another 43 are planned to be informed of suspicion after examination.
Among the largest revelations is an organized group from Cherkasy region, which grown almost 7.5 thousand hemp bushes, and large -scale crops found in Zhytomyr region, where more than 5,000 bushes were found among corn.
