Kharkiv reported suspicion in Hooliganism to the employee of the territorial centered and social support center who hit the man into the abdomen during the verification of documents.
As he writes Police of Kharkiv regionsetthat the conflict arose during the work of the mobile group to notify the conscripts. A verbal dispute broke out between the serviceman and the local resident, during which the representative of the Tax Code hit the man.
The victim was a history teacher. He appealed to the police with a crime statement. On this fact, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – “hooliganism”.
According to the results of investigative actions carried out under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the field of defense of the Eastern Region, the serviceman was informed about the suspicion. The sanction of the incriminated article provides for up to five years of restraint of liberty.
The police stressed that they would respond to all signals about possible violations of citizens’ rights.
