During the penultimate week of 2025, the Polish Border Service recorded the departure of 180 foreign citizens who received official orders to leave the country. Among them there are 24 Ukrainians.
This was reported by the Border Service of Poland.
General statistics for the year indicate the significant scale of the application of this procedure, because from January to December, almost 9,200 people left Poland on the basis of such decisions. The process of returning foreigners to their countries of origin took place according to two scenarios: voluntary execution of court orders and forced deportation under the supervision of law enforcement agencies.
In the category of voluntary return, the leaders were citizens of Belarus (27 people), Moldova (21 people) and Georgia (19 people). These people independently left the territory of Poland within the period established by law after receiving the corresponding administrative decision. At the same time, the statistics of forced deportations show a different picture: the largest group of persons who were deported under escort were citizens of Ukraine — 24 persons. They are followed by citizens of Georgia (16 people) and Colombia (5 people).
Polish law enforcement officers pay special attention to the reasons why foreigners lost their right to stay in the country. In addition to the violation of the visa regime, a significant part of the decisions was determined by the commission of criminal offenses. Among those deported were persons convicted of property crimes, drug possession, grievous bodily harm, and driving without a driver’s license. Foreigners involved in the organization of schemes for illegally crossing the state border of Poland were also subject to the deportation procedure.
The increase in the number of deportations at the end of 2025 indicates the strengthening of migration control in Poland, especially regarding persons who pose a threat to public security. Representatives of the Border Service note that such measures are part of the European-wide policy to combat illegal migration and criminality among foreign communities.
The Polish Border Guard previously reported that after clashes at a concert by Belarusian rapper Max Korzh in Warsaw, 13 foreigners were forcibly deported from the country, and another 10 left voluntarily.
