On December 22, representatives of the Plast National Scout Organization solemnly handed over the symbolic Bethlehem Flame of Peace to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

The President thanked the scouting organizations for their help and the fact that they care about Ukraine.
The president’s website noted that among those present at the meeting were members of the youth organization “Plast – National Scout Organization of Ukraine”, the all-Ukrainian youth public organization “National Organization of Scouts of Ukraine” and the public organization “Association of Guides of Ukraine”.
The children said that they help young people in the frontline regions, keeping in touch with young Ukrainians abroad. Scout organizations also support wounded soldiers. More than half a thousand members of the organization joined the Defense Forces.
Passing the Bethlehem Flame of Peace is an international Scout event that takes place every year on Christmas Eve.
Its main goal is to spread the symbolic fire from the birthplace of Jesus Christ to everyone who needs it, because fire is a symbol of good deeds and support.
