In Kyiv region and part of Odesa region, planned blackout schedules are returning. Energy workers managed to stabilize the situation after a difficult night and weather problems. This was reported in the DTEK group.

The situation in the power system was leveled enough to abandon emergency restrictions. Now the lights will be turned off according to a predetermined schedule. “Energy workers managed to stabilize the situation and restore schedules in part of the region,” the company said in a statement.

At the same time, DTEK emphasizes that work in the regions does not stop. Due to bad weather, a large number of emergency damage to networks is recorded in the regions. According to energy experts, repairs are currently being carried out in difficult conditions. In particular, one of the lines is being repaired right in the middle of the field — at a height corresponding to approximately the sixth floor of a high-rise building. “Despite the frost and icy wind, we are doing our best to restore light to homes,” the company emphasized.

DTEK also urged residents to follow official notifications, as the situation may change depending on the weather and the state of networks. In the event of new damage, the graphics may be adjusted. Energy experts assure that they are working in an intensified mode and are doing everything possible to minimize inconvenience to people.

In Kyiv, traffic is being restored on all metro lines.

We will remind you that on the morning of January 31, emergency power outages began in Ukraine. In some areas, shutdown schedules are not observed.

On the morning of January 31, subway trains in Kyiv and Kharkiv were suspended due to a lack of voltage. Emergency power outages also began throughout Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, reacted to the large-scale blackout in the country and instructed to stabilize the situation as soon as possible.
