“When checking the luggage compartment of the Mercedes car, which went to Poland, the border guards found 50 books dated end of XIX – early XX century,” the statement said.
At the wheel was a 52-year-old resident of Lviv region. He reported that the books were transferred to him for further transportation.
All editions were temporarily seized and submitted for expertise to determine their cultural or historical value.
