He was detained “on hot” during the transfer of part of the money.
The 59-year-old owner of the wood supply company has concluded an agreement with the local police department.
He wanted to put a smaller product than it was agreed, and put the difference in the funds in his pocket.
To implement his plan, the businessman offered the chief of police 60 thousand hryvnias. For this money, the official had to sign documents with false data.
However, the police officer reported a bribery offer to internal security operatives. The attacker was detained during the transfer of 40 thousand hryvnias. Now he is threatened with punishment – up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
