During these two months, Tyshchenko is also obliged to wear an electronic bracelet and to comply with previously assigned duties.
The SBI notified the deputy of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal deprivation of liberty or kidnapping). If he is found guilty, he could receive 5 years in prison.
Tyshchenko’s lawyers stated that the suspicion is unfounded, and a preventive measure may even paralyze the work of the parliament, because there will be a lack of votes for some important draft law.
