The lawyer of the People’s Deputy noted that the reason was his participation in the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, writes “Radio Svoboda”.
Tyshchenko’s lawyer said that the People’s Deputy is currently at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, and therefore cannot be present. At the same time, the People’s Deputy did not join via video link, as he did last time.
Instead, the victim, Dmytro Mazokha, a former fighter of the GUR special unit “Kraken”, and ex-policeman Bohdan Pisarenko, who, together with Tyschenko, are accused of illegally depriving Mazokha of their liberty were present in the courtroom.
In court, Dmytro Mazokha reacted to the absence of a people’s deputy.
“It’s already funny to me to look at it. He appears in the Verkhovna Rada, and two weeks before that he was carted away. It is a shame that we are taking up time, that we are entering the media space on this issue, this is a representative of the people, and he should fulfill his duties like no one else,” he said.
