According to Kostenko, as of March 12, the Ukrainian military continues to hold positions in Sudzh.
“I had a conversation with our fighters, who are now there. They do not confirm information about the full exit from the judge, ”the People’s Deputy said.
He also stressed that Russian troops entered separate parts of the city, but this does not mean the loss of control over the entire settlement.
Kostenko added that the situation remains tense and the fighting continues. According to him, the Russians really control certain territories in Sudzh, but this is not a definitive success for the occupiers.
“As of two hours ago, I had no confirmation that our troops had completely left the city,” he emphasized.
The People’s Deputy also drew attention to information manipulations by Russian propaganda. According to him, the enemy actively spreads fakes about the allegedly complete retreat of Ukrainian forces from Sudzhi. This is done in order to demoralize Ukrainian society and create an illusion of the advantage of the Russian army.
Sudzha is near the border with Ukraine and is an important strategic point in the region. Fierce fighting for the city has been going on for several days, and the situation has been changing every hour.
Recall that the Russians are attacked near Sudzhi, despite huge losses. The Ukrainian command has already involved reserves to stabilize the front.
