The Supreme Anti -Corruption Court gave seven years prisons with confiscation of MP Anatoly Hunko, exposed in receiving $ 85,000 for lease for land lease of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences.

WACS found the people’s deputy guilty of committing the crimes provided for by the following articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
Part 2 of Art. 15, Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 4 of Art. 190 – a completed attempt on large -scale fraud by prior conspiracy by a group of persons;
Part 4 of Art. 27, Part 2 of Art. 15, Part 4 of Art. 369 – incitement, completed attempted to provide undue benefit to an employee.
In addition to imprisonment, the court deprived the deputy for three years of the right to be elected to state authorities and local self -government, to occupy public service positions. He also appointed him the confiscation of all property owned.
The investigation found that, as the chairman of the Provisional Investigation Commission of the Verkhovna Rada on the investigation of corruption at state -owned enterprises, institutions and organizations of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, the deputy incited a representative of a private enterprise to give bribery to the employees of NAAS and the head of one of the local authorities.
During the “remuneration”, they allegedly had to provide a private enterprise with land with a total area of 1700 hectares, which were in permanent use of the state enterprise of the Academy of Agrarian Sciences, and in the future not to interfere with economic activity. In fact, the deputy planned to seize these funds himself.
It should be reminded that the National Anti -Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office declared suspicion of People’s Deputy Anatoly Hunko.
On August 8, the People’s Deputy from the party “Servant of the People” Anatoly Hunko was exposed to receiving a bribe for the allocation of land.
