On the evening of January 25, a fatal traffic accident occurred near Lviv, resulting in the death of People’s Deputy from the Servant of the People party Orest Salamakha.
This was announced by the head of the Servant of the People faction, Davyd Arahamiya.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred around 6:15 p.m. in the dark on a busy section of the road near the settlement of Sokilnyky.
According to local media, the people’s deputy was riding a quad bike when it collided with another vehicle. As a result of the incident, only Orest Salamakha suffered serious injuries, other participants of the event were not injured.
The spokeswoman of the faction, Yulia Paliychuk, initially reported that the politician was in a serious condition in the hospital, but later it became known that the injuries received were not compatible with life.
She noted that the faction deeply sympathizes with the relatives of the deceased and expects the official results of the investigation. According to her, the law enforcement officers will find out all the circumstances of the incident in order to establish the causes of the accident.
It will be recalled that a 31-year-old rescuer died during the liquidation of the consequences of the attack in Kyiv.
Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler Serhii Shumilov also died at the front.
