The prosecutor’s office retrained the suspicion of Lviv Mikhail Scelnikov, who is suspected of murder of the former Verkhovna Rada chairman Andriy Parubiy.
He is now charged with “illegal handling of weapons” (Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code) and “encroachment on the life of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, committed in connection with his state or social activity” (Article 112 of the Criminal Code).
The attacker faces 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment.
The head of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office Mykola Meret reported that the Russian mark is now being clarified. According to him, the suspect fled to the forest after committing the crime, burned his clothes, dismantled the bicycle and tried to drown it.
Earlier bloggers found out that the suspect in murder Former Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy, called Scelnikov Mikhail Viktorovich, 73 years old. He was a resident of Lviv, and detained him in the village of Kolodiivka, in the eco-estate “Bakota”.
On September 1, a large funeral service was held in Lviv, where hundreds of people were able to say goodbye to Andriy Parubiy. The ceremony took place at St. George’s Cathedral.
