One thousand hryvnias of winter support can be donated to the army through charitable foundations and volunteer organizations.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyridenko during a meeting with the largest such associations.
She noted that Ukraine has two major areas of financing: the first is the defense sector, in particular, the salaries of defenders, which are financed from the country’s internal resources, in particular taxes; the second – social payments and all other budget expenditures.
“The defense sector and military salaries are the main priority for funding. Thanks to the winter program isSupport, everyone who receives 1,000 hryvnias from the state will be able to use these funds to support the army through charitable funds and volunteer organizations,” said Svyridenko.
After crediting UAH 1,000 to the “National Cashback” card, these funds can be “transformed” into drones and electronic warfare equipment for the military, the official added.
She noted that the decision to spend support on the army is “extremely important”, since the level of donations has now become lower, compared to the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
“I see the correct communication from the military environment – if you don’t know how to spend a thousand, or you don’t need it – open a “National Cashback” card and send it to the Armed Forces. The “Come Back Alive” Foundation is already actively calling for the National Cashback to become a national donation,” the minister said.
We will remind that on October 25, in a traditional evening address, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced the start of a new program within the framework of the already active “e-Support”. From December 1, every Ukrainian will be able to receive 1,000 hryvnias from the state.
From December, Ukrainians will be able to receive a thousand hryvnias of state aid, which will be credited to the National Cashback card. The aid will be financed from the funds of partners within the framework of existing programs that do not manage to be mastered by the end of the year.
