“We are studying the possibility of opening civil aviation flights during martial law under the conditions of ensuring all safety requirements for aircraft, passengers and infrastructure,” the message says.
The airport has developed an operational document for the evacuation of passengers and conducts regular training of evacuation procedures.
In addition, during the martial law at the airport, the number of employees was optimized. The staff serving the airport consists of 30% of the pre-war workforce.
“The remaining employees maintain the appropriate level of qualification and will be ready to provide high-quality service for a small number of flights during the resumption of flights,” the press service explained.
Earlier, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy reported that the issue of opening an airport in Lviv is being actively discussed in expert circles. He emphasized the importance of this topic, noting that we must survive under all conditions.
