At the Shegini checkpoint on the border with Poland, they limit traffic for cars. The restrictions will be valid from April 22 to May 10.

This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

From April 22, from 10:00 at the checkpoint “Shehyni” began repair and reconstruction works. Because of this, departure from Ukraine for passenger vehicles will be restricted.

In particular, one of the traffic lanes will not work, and this can affect the formation of queues.

The DPSU is recommended for drivers to plan the route in advance and, if possible, choose less loaded checkpoints, such as “Rava-Ruska”, “Grusov”, “Ugrinov”, “Smilnitsa”, “Nizhankovichi”.

The work will last approximately until May 10.

Earlier, Prime Minister Denis Schmigal has told the government’s work directions to build a single logistics space. By 2030, the Cabinet plans to update 29 checkpoints and build 17 new ones.

Earlier, Denis Shmigal stated that this year the further modernization of checkpoints on the western border of Ukraine is planned.

We will remind, the checkpoint for freight transport Bila Tserkva – Sigett Marmotii on the border with Romania plan to launch in 2025.
