In Ukraine, on December 4, a law comes into force that simplifies the reservation of men at critical enterprises, allowing the temporary reservation of workers even in the presence of “problematic” military registration documents.

It is about the law “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Organization of Labor Relations in the Conditions of Martial Law”, signed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi at the beginning of November, reports NV.

The document provides for the possibility of temporary booking for a period of up to 45 calendar days of employees of critical enterprises, if they violated the requirements of the legislation in the field of military accounting and mobilization.

Conscripts who:

  • have improperly executed or missing military registration documents;

  • are not on military registration;

  • have not updated their personal data;

  • are wanted for violating the rules of military accounting or mobilization legislation.

During these 45 days, the employee must eliminate all violations, after which he can be booked on a general basis.

The most popular products were LEGO sets, Pokemon cards, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 game consoles, as well as products from Apple AirPods to KitchenAid mixers. The holiday shopping season comes amid tight budgets, high prices and unemployment nearing a four-year high.
