The head of the OVA reminded that all establishments of public catering, recreation, entertainment and trade in the territory of Odesa region must comply with the legislation on the state language, culture, public order and the requirements of martial law.
“Departments of OVA, heads of communities and other relevant state bodies are instructed to take measures to prevent such violations and to conduct a clear explanation of the requirements of the legislation with entrepreneurs. Odesa is a Ukrainian city. And here Ukraine should be heard,” Kiper concluded.
As reported, a scandal broke out in Odesa after a DJ at the Palladium nightclub played a song by a Russian artist in front of an audience of more than 1,000 people, despite the fourth year of full-scale war and constant Russian attacks on the city. The police came to the club, the incident caused a wide response.
